The idea of dynamic pricing is not new in itself: such systems have long been common practice in the area of air travel and hotel bookings and are taken for granted by guests. The dynamic pricing model continuously recalculates the prices for ski tickets. The current price is influenced by various factors such as the seasonal phase, the day of the week, the booking date, the current booking status or the weather forecast. The price is calculated using an algorithm. In any case: those who book early benefit.

No, the price shown corresponds to the best possible offer at the time of booking. There are no short-term price reductions. That's why it's always worth booking early, because the current price for a ski ticket on a particular day will no longer be cheaper.

The current prices are continuously updated and can be called up in our onlineshop. The price at the cash desk always corresponds to the daily price displayed online.

The dynamic price model also calculates the price for multi-day ski tickets. So the same applies here: Those who book early benefit. With multi-day tickets, you also benefit from attractive offers for subsequent days.

Yes, the dynamic price model applies to all age groups, so children and young people will continue to benefit from lower fares. The KidsCard mini will remain at € 4 per day.

You can purchase your ticket conveniently from home in our online store and pay by credit or debit card. If you already have a KeyCard, the ticket can be purchased directly in the online store and paid for by credit or debit card.

No, it is generally not possible to cancel or exchange a purchased ticket. An exception applies in the event of illness or accident, whereby a medical certificate from a doctor is mandatory (in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Hinterstoder-Wurzeralm Bergbahnen AG).

If no lifts are in operation on the day booked, you will receive a goodwill refund in the form of a voucher for a one-day ski pass, which can be redeemed on a date of your choice during the current season. If operations are suspended during the course of the day due to bad weather, safety reasons or force majeure (e.g. danger of avalanches), you are not entitled to a refund. There is also no entitlement to a refund in the event of operational disruptions or due to seasonal reductions in lift operations. The General Terms and Conditions of Hinterstoder-Wurzeralm Bergbahnen AG apply.

If you already have a Hiwu Bergbahnen KeyCard or the personalized AlpineCard, you can book your ticket directly on this data carrier. If you have neither a chip card nor an AlpineCard, you will receive a booking confirmation with a QR code, which you can use to collect your ski ticket quickly and easily from the ticket machine or at the ticket office. The booking confirmation does not have to be printed out, but can also be scanned on your cell phone. A fee of € 2,- is charged for the keycard. This will be refunded when you return the keycard.

Yes, it is possible to purchase ski tickets via the hotel (only hotels with ticket printers) or a direct partner of Hinterstoder-Wurzeralm Bergbahnen AG. The ticket prices displayed online apply there, as at the ticket office at the valley station.

If you do not have a credit card or debit card and still want to benefit from the early booking, you can purchase your ski tickets for a later date in advance at the Hinterstoder Wurzeralm Bergbahnen AG ticket offices using the usual means of payment.
